- We will utilize Zoom.us for virtual visits. This platform is Health Insurance Privacy and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant and secure, which protects your personal information.
- Prior to our initial consultation, I will email you instructions regarding how to check in and participate in our virtual consultation.
- At that time, I will set up your Electronic Health Records (EHR) with you. This will establish a partnership and grant you access to the patient portal.
- Once you are an established partner, you will be able to request appointments directly through the patient portal schedule at PATIENT FUSION PORTAL.
- You will also have the ability to utilize secure messaging if you need to reach me, but are unsure if you need a full consultation. Your patient portal will allow you to sign in and view your EHR, lab reports, referrals, and radiology reports. This way, when we are doing follow-up, we can look at them together and discuss possible needs based on findings. The EHR platform is HIPAA compliant, encrypted, and secure. Your health records will only be accessible to you and me, unless you choose to release them to another party.
